You can click HERE to find books you'd like to read. Our library operates on a flexible schedule. Students can visit the library on an "as needed" basis at a time that works with their classroom schedule.

Student Access

Johnston County Public Libraries and Johnston County Public Schools have partnered to expand students’ access to educational resources through a new program known as StudentAccess. Johnston County Public School students can use their Student ID number as a library card. In addition to accessing electronic resources and library databases, students may also borrow up to 10 print or audiobooks from the public libraries located in Benson, Four Oaks, Kenly, Princeton, Selma, or Smithfield. To access their account, students use their Student/PowerSchool number as their username to login. The Student/PowerSchool number is located at the top of the student's report card. The PIN (if needed) is the last four digits of the Student/PowerSchool number. If you have trouble accessing your child's PowerSchool number, feel free to call me for assistance.
