Student’s attendance is of the utmost importance in Driver's Education Class. Driver's Education is a twelve-day commitment. No absences are allowed.
The cost of the Drivers Education program is $90 per-student. This amount must be paid in full before the assigned due date.
To take the final exam, the student must have an average of 70 or higher on the class assignments. The grade for the final exam will be 80 or above to pass the classroom portion and move on to the Alive at 25 and the driving with a JCS instructor.
When students are completing the driving portion of the class, they will be picked up and dropped off at school. The instructor will give you the times and dates when it is time for driving. Driving is done in the order of birthdate.
If a student fails the classroom portion of the class, they must wait one class before they may take the class again here at NJHS.
