Our caring school nurse ensures student success by providing comprehensive health services. From basic health checks to valuable consultations, she promotes student well-being. Our nurse prioritize student health by conducting screenings, offering referrals, and managing daily medications. She also ensures emergency medications are on hand and maintain communication with parents, fostering a safe school environment.

The counseling program at Dixon Road Elementary School is designed to support the emotional, social, and academic development of all students. Our program provides a comprehensive approach to helping students build essential skills that promote a positive school environment and enhance personal growth. Services include individual and group counseling, classroom guidance, crisis intervention, school-wide incentive programs, provide resource referrals, and collaboration with staff, families and students.

Our student service team aims to create a nurturing environment where every student feels supported and valued. By addressing emotional, social, and academic needs, the program helps students develop resilience, build healthy relationships, and achieve their full potential. Additionally, the program promotes a positive school culture that encourages empathy, respect, and lifelong learning. Students will be working through the Harmony SEL program. It provides students with the necessary tools to build social and emotional skills inside and outside of the classroom.

In addition to counseling, Ms. Conrad is the dedicated 504 coordinator and Backpack Buddies Coordinator, providing invaluable support to students with diverse needs.
