Mrs. Sauls Hairr began her tenure as Principal of Cleveland High School on July 1, 2017. Sauls Hairr comes to Cleveland High from Cleveland Middle School where she served as Principal for two years. Mrs. Sauls Hairr is no stranger to Cleveland High as she was one of two assistant principals to serve when the school opened in August 2010.

Malia Blake is the 11th grade administrator and the Assistant Principal for Community Relations. This is her 4th year at Cleveland High School as Assistant Principal. She has been part of Johnston County Public Schools since 2017 as an English Teacher at West Johnston High School where she was also the Director of the West Johnston Food Pantry. She has worked in schools in Florida, Hawaii, and North Carolina. Mrs. Blake believes in the strength of our differences and encourages all students to be themselves!
Originally from Hawaii, Mrs. Blake loves to body surf, and chase waterfalls in the steep mountains. She plays the ukulele and has danced hula since she could walk. She also loves to read a good book, or binge watch a new series.

Michael Jones is an Assistant Principal at Cleveland High School, overseeing the 9th grade and discipline for all ninth graders. With 21 years of teaching experience, including 7 years teaching CTE classes and over 15 years in special education, Michael is passionate about supporting students and teachers.
Mr. Jones holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Shaw University, a Master in Educational Leadership from American Intercontinental University, and a Master in School Administration from Gardner-Webb University. Committed to fostering student success, Michael is dedicated to empowering the school community.

Melissa Noel is the 12 grade administrator and oversees curriculum and instruction for Cleveland High School.
Born and raised in Moncks Corner, SC, Mrs. Noel graduated from The College of Charleston in 1993. She was a classroom English teacher at eight different schools in three different school districts in SC, MO, and NC. She's been in JCPS since 2009. In 2010, she was honored to get a teaching position at Cleveland High School when we opened the doors.
In 2017, she left the classroom to be a district-level instructional coach to support teachers. In 2021, she became an assistant principal. Her master's is in Educational Technology from Webster University in Webster Groves, Missouri. Her administrative add-on license was obtained through Gardner-Webb University.
Mrs. Noel has been married to Brent Noel since 1993 and has two sons. Both Kyle and Cameron graduated from Cleveland High in 2013 and 2015 respectively.
