Welcome to Choice Plus Academy! I am honored to serve as the Principal. I am a career educator with over 20 years of experience. I take pride in building strong teams that remain focused on meeting the diverse academic, social, and emotional needs of all students. A Phoenix is a bird that rises from the ashes. We R.I.S.E. by Being Respectful, Being Invested, Being Safe, and Being Engaged. Students at Choice Plus Academy have the opportunity to focus on their learning while learning new ways to cope with the stress of every day life.

A fun fact about me is that I am a double Eagle, two-time, graduate from North Carolina Central University where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology and Masters of School Administration degrees. I earned an Education Specialist degree from UNC Chapel Hill and I earned my Doctor of Education degree from Alverno College. I like to play Chess as much as possible. I love music, business development, traveling, and spending time with family.
