There are four key areas focused on in AVID, all split about evenly.
Those are organization (notes and binder), tutorials, college and career readiness, and team building.

Nkem Obodo came to visit the AVID students! She is a freshman at Cornell University. She attended Cleveland Middle School, Smithfield Selma High School as part of the International Baccalaureate program and is currently majoring in Sociology.
