School Improvement Plan
A school improvement plan (SIP) is a document that outlines the goals, strategies, and action steps that aim to improve the quality of education students receive. The purpose of a SIP is to provide a framework for change and to identify the school’s destination. The plan requires both decision-making and action from a variety of stakeholders to reach that destination in the most efficient and effective route.
NCStar is a web-based tool that guides a district or school team in charting its improvement and managing the continuous improvement process.
