Highly selective scholarship program for a high school senior with exceptionally focused literary ability and promise.

Full financial support for 4 years

This scholarship is awarded to one incoming UNC Chapel Hill freshman, for full financial support for four years. The Thomas Wolfe Scholarship seeks to identify and reward students with exceptionally focused literary ability and promise. Kermit B. Stalling VFW Post 5955 Scholarship

Application is open to all Johnston County high school seniors who are descendants of a military veteran, Scholarships are payable to the winner’s college, university or certified trade school in the United States.
