What do I do if I want to bring my class to the Media Center?

Sign up for a day/time on the calendar at the circulation desk.
Plan to stay with your class for the duration of the period
Reschedule in the event you need a substitute teacher

What do I do for laminating services?

Laminating is only offered to faculty and staff for educational resources for the classroom. Personal items cannot be laminated.
Lamination drop off is on the counter of the circulation desk in the Media Center.
When you drop off laminating, please leave a note with your name and any special instructions, if there are any.
Laminating is on an as needed basis.
Library science students or teacher assistants will deliver finished laminating to your classroom.

What can I use the Media Center for?

The Conference Room
- Sign up for use of the conference room to meet with parents, teachers, or students
The Nook
- Do you need a separate, small group space for your students. You can sign up exclusively for "The Nook"
Whole Class Circulation
- Bring your class to the library for whole class check-out and independent reading selections
- Check out a class set of novels for your students
Book Tastings or Speed Dating
- Give you students a fun option to sample some titles in the library before making their final selections
Blind Date with a Book
- Utilize the Mobile Library for a blind date with a book. Students will select a mystery book for the class period.

You can also use the Media Center for whole-class, independent circulation or you can host your class in the library.

Request for Prior Approval for Video/DVD Broadcast:

Click here to submit the Prior Approval for Video/DVD Broadcast form. This is for any video/DVD that is not currently in a JCPS Media Center. The Prior Approval Request form must remain on file for the school year and summer.

Novel Class Sets:

Click Novel Class Sets to view the class sets available at Corinth Holders High School. Email Ms. Millard to prepare the books for check out.

Request for Prior Approval of an Instruction Novel:

This is to gain approval for a novel set not owned by Johnston County Schools as an instructional novel. This is to help show the purpose of the novel in the classroom and alleviate book challenges.
