Mr. Cornelius O Thomas
Welcome. My name is Cornelius Thomas. I come to you by way of Queens, NY. I attended Springfield College in Massacchussetts and earned my Bachelors in Sports Management and Minor in Economics. Next, I attended Quinnipiac University in Connecticut and earned my Masters in Business Administration.
I have taught Business and Information Technology and Marketing for 13 years. I have also coached HS basketball and scouted and conducted analytics research on MLB players for 13+ years. I have been blessed to network with over 100+ professionals in the business, education, and sports world. I am here to serve SSS and connect our students to people and opportunities that will allow them to be the best citizens they can be.

Pre-K - 5th Grade to return to Plan A on March 1
The Johnston County Board of Education voted to return Pre-K - 5th grade to Plan A, four days per week, beginning on Monday, March. 1.

JCPS transitions to Plan B for all students
The Johnston County Board of Education voted to return all Pre-K and EC-Self Contained students to Plan B, four days per week, beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 19. These students will participate in face-to-face instruction on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with Wednesday serving as a remote learning day. All other students in grades K-12 will remain on Plan C until Monday, Feb. 1.
