Bachelors Degree in Special Education K-12 from East Carolina University

Mrs. Winstead

Hello!  My name is Bridgette Winstead and this is my second year at Smithfield Selma High School.  While this is my second year here at SSS this is my 12th year of teaching.  I went to Johnston County Public Schools (elementary school: Glendale Kenly, middle school: North Johnston Middle School, and high school: North Johnston High School).  After graduating high school, I went to pursue a teaching degree at East Carolina University.  Once graduating college, I came back to the county that stirred the love of learning within me and have worked in the county ever since!  I am married to my husband, Mark and we have two wonderful boys: Landyn (8 years old) and Elijah (3 years old).  We also have a beagle mix named, Daisy.  My husband and I are ordained ministers and serve at our church, as well as, help with other ministeries.  I love people and I want nothing more than to make your time at SSS enjoyable and memorable.  If I can do anything please feel free to call at 919-934-5191 ext: 5240 or email me at bridgetteraper@johnston.k12.nc.us
