Eastern Michigan University:Bachelor's Degree-Secondary Education

Mrs. Ashley Ringwood

Welcome to 7th grade Language Arts! I am excited to be working with you for the 2022/2023 school year. I am a graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Secondary Education (Social Studies and Economics concentration). My teaching career started in my hometown of Detroit, Michigan, where I taught high school Social Studies and Economics. An opportunity then moved me to Phoenix, Arizona, where I spent 5 years teaching middle school Social Studies and English. I look forward to starting my 9th year of teaching here at Swift Creek with all of you!

This course will use Google Classroom as a way to organize materials and turn in assignments. I am also an AVID teacher and love to incorporate AVID strategies into my ELA classroom.

Please check PowerSchool and Google Classroom frequently to stay on top of your studies.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments, or concerns. You can contact me by phone or email. Communication is key for a successful school year!
