Ms. Amy Watson

Welcome East Clayton families!  My name is Amy Watson and I am very excited to be part of the Explorers family this year.  I am a 4th grade teacher and look forward to having the children back in my classroom.  This is my 11th year teaching in Johnston County.  I moved to Clayton in 2001 from Pennsylvania.  I graduated from Mercyhurst University with a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.  I am blessed to have two children.  My son will be in 7th grade and my daughter in 3nd.  One of my favorite activities to do outside of school is to play pickleball.  I can promise your children will come home talking about some game called pickleball that Ms. Watosn plays.  I look forward to a wonderful school year.
