Mrs. Sayonna Adams
Welcome to First Grade!
My name is Sayonna Adams and I will be your child's teacher this year. I am excited to lead your child on their education journey this year. My reason for becoming a teacher is cliche but it's my truth; I love igniting the spark for a love of learning and watching students grow each year. I will do everything in my power to help your child during their time with me.
This is my first year teaching, I have recently graduated from NC State (GO PACK!) with my Bachelor's of Science- Major in Elementary Education with a concentration in STEM.
A little bit about me: I am a mom. I have two handsome boys, Benjamin (4 y.o) and Daniel (<1 y.o), a 7 y.o Lab/Pit named Demy, and a 3 legged 16 y.o cat named Alex. I have been married for 6 years. I was born in Florida where I lived for 11 years, Washington State for 5 years, and have been a North Carolina resident since I was 16.
I am a lover of coffee, chocolate, animals (especially wolves and dolphins), and cool rocks.
