Welcome to my class!! I am excited to be here and look forward to teaching you this 2022-23 school year. I teach EC OCS and formerly taught EC SC/GC at Clayton Middle School. I am a Raleigh native but have lived in Clayton since 1998. My husband and I have one son, one cat, and a dog. I have a deep passion for children and spending time with family and friends. My other hobbies include cooking, reading, water recreation, and weight lifting.

  • ACCESS testing for English Language Learners

    North Carolina schools are required to administer ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 to all students identified as English Learners (ELs) in the spring of each year to determine their progress in learning English. Each student is tested in four areas: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. This assessment helps us monitor their English language development.

  • Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23

    We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and  meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
