Mr. Allen

I have been a teacher for 9 years. This is my first year at South Johsnton and I am truly excited about it. I am also a football coach and love doing that. Before becoming a teacher I worked in the corporate environment with big box retail for over 20 years. I love business and technology and look forward to sharing all the cool stuff I have learned with you. I am married and have 2 children. My wife is a local college professor.  Our 2 daughters are both grown now. My oldest is an art teacher in Johnston County and my youngest is a soldier in the US Army. I obtained my bachelors degree from the University of Mount Olive, my masters degree from Central Michigan University, and my doctoral Education Specialist degree from Liberty University. Looking forward to working with each of you this year. We are going to have a great year together.

  • I spent 24 years in the private sector of business before becoming a teacher. About 80% of all people in the U. S. work in business. Learning about the business world and how it works is essitial part of learning how the labor industry of the U.S. works. In this class you will learn a little bit about the history of business, pricing, cost, customer service, financing, managment, and labor workers. With my background I bring a unique twist to the classroom. I get to incorperate real life expierences with what is being taught in the classroom. I am sure you will enjoy the energy of my classes and learn about things you never even thought of in the business world.
