Mr. Allen
Hello,
I have been a teacher for 7 years at the high school level. This is my first year at FOMS and I am truly excited about it. I am also the head football and boys track coach. Before becoming a teacher I worked in the corporate environment with big box retail for over 20 years. I love technology and looking forward to sharing all the cool stuff I have learned with you. I am married and have 2 children. My wife is a local college professor. Our 2 daughters are both grown now. My oldest is an art teacher in Wayne County and my youngest is a soldier in the US Army. I obtained my bachelors degree from the University of Mount Olive, my masters degree from Central Michigan University, and my doctoral Education Specialist degree from Liberty University. Looking forward to working with each of you this year. We are going to have a great year together.

Technology impacts every individual and society as a whole. In this class we will experience technology in many different ways. In many of our lessons we will learn how the use of computers has changed all areas of our lives. For example 3D printing, entertainment, education, engineering. Technology exists to solve problems through the use of creative solutions and then find the best way to solve the problem. That is the main focus of this course, to understand technology and how it is used to solve problems.
