Hello!  My name is Sardavia Williams, and I am so excited to be returning to Riverwood Middle School this year in a new role, sixth grade math.

Sardavia Williams graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of North Carolin at Greensboro where she received a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration: Social Entrepreneurship. While attending UNCG, she was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society, performing in the top 10% of her junior class. In 2012, Sardavia joined Teach For America in Eastern North Carolina where she served as a 6th-8th grade math teacher, and in her second year she served as a Math 1 teacher. In this second year, she led in her district with 98% proficiency on the EOC. Sardavia has also taught math intervention, and served as a Dean of Culture, Dean of Students and Math Curriculum, and Manager of Teacher Leadership Development within a public school, charter school, and as a TFA staff member. She is currently pursuing her Master's in School Administration at the North Carolina State University in the Northeast Leadership Academy. • Updated Social Distancing Procedures

Information on social distancing in school settings has been recently updated by the NC Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS). Upon receiving information from the NCDHHS, we consulted with the Johnston County Public Health Department on the impact these updates will have on our school system. This ongoing collaboration continues to guide our decision-making as students return to classrooms for in-person instruction.
