Degrees and Certifications:

Eileen Rivera

My name is Eileen Rivera. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico.  I graduated from "Universidad del Turabo" in Puerto Rico. In 2012, I moved out to the beautiful Dublin in Ireland with my husband and my twin daughters. After two years of living in Europe, we came to the United States. I've been in the US for a while.  I moved to Clayton 6 years ago.  Once in Clayton, I completed my teaching license in Spanish to become a Spanish Instructor from East Carolina University, so I am proud to be a double Pirate! My teaching journey started as an Exceptional Children’s Teacher at Riverwood Middle School in 2018. This is my 4th year at CHHS and I am very excited to be part of the wonderful and top-notch team at CHHS. Go Pirates!

Each student is tested in four areas: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. This assessment helps us monitor their English language development.
