Welcome to Mrs. Wales Spanish & Art Class. We are Learning Spanish in the first half of school and then switching to Art. Everyone will be learning how to read, write and speak Spanish through exciting songs, music and cultural activities.
Art is a lot of fun. We learn about many different artists as we discover some of their creative techniques like drawing, painting , mosaics, collages, portraits, self portraits, weaving , pottery and printing.

Each year we create many unique crafts and art creations in our Art class. If you can donate any of these items to the Art/Spanish class just send them in with your child and label it for Mrs. Wales Class.

The Johnston County Board of Education voted to return all Pre-K and EC-Self Contained students to Plan B, four days per week, beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 19. These students will participate in face-to-face instruction on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with Wednesday serving as a remote learning day. All other students in grades K-12 will remain on Plan C until Monday, Feb. 1.
On December 8th 2020, the Johnston County School Board of Education voted to return to Plan C (Remote Learning), we would like to provide an update to parents and guardians of options to complete state-mandated End-of-Course (EOC) and Career/Technical Education Post Assessment testing.
Every JCPS parent was to fill ou the Second Semester Choice form to choose either the Virtual Program OR face-to-face instruction for each of their students by Monday, Nov. 30. If you were unable to fill out the form by Nov. 30 please contact your child's school for assistance. The form was to be filled out for ALL students in grades PreK-12.
