Mrs. C Brown

Welcome to my page!

I have been teaching Social Studies at Smithfield-Selma High School since 2019. Go Spartans! I am excited about the 2022-2023 school year!

This year I am teaching Civic Literacy and AVID.

My History: I graduated from Guilford Technical Community College (AA), Western Carolina University (BS), and North Carolina State University (MA.) Then I worked for more than 10 years with the North Carolina Office of Archives and History before resigning from my position so that I could enjoy spending time with my kids while they were growing up. It has been my great pleasure to return to the work force as a teacher at Smithfield-Selma High School.

My Goal is to make my classroom a space where Social Studies is engaging, exciting, and useful.
