Mr. Mike Manning
Originally from the state of Ohio, Mr. Manning has a Bachelor of Science from Lee University, and is certified through Eastern North Carolina Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Certification Program. He has been teaching young people for over 25 years and is North Carolina teacher certified to teach 6-9 grades.
Mr. Manning is also a pastor, musician, and has traveled all over the world as a singer and speaker. He is also a published author and Certified Self-Confidence Coach.
Rising 6th Grade Band Sign Up Now Available
Incoming 6th grade students may now sign up for McGee's Crossroads Middle School Band for the 2023-2024 school year. Being a part of the MXMS band will help to find a creative outlet, learn and perform with friends, and be a part of something bigger.

To prepare for the upcoming school year’s meals benefits, please complete the 2021-2022 meal benefit application to enable your student to have access to meal benefits during the first 30 days of the 22-23 school year.
Trades and Classified Job Fair 2023
Johnston County Public Schools will hold it's annual Trades & Classified Job Fair on Saturday, June 24. The event will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Smithfield-Selma High School, 700 M Durwood Stephenson Pkwy, Smithfield, NC 27577.

Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23
We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
2022 Growth Needs Update
Johnston County Public Schools Chief of Facilities and Construction Brooks Moore presented the 2022 Growth Needs Update to the Johnston County Board of Education at their March meeting.
