Welcome to 2nd grade!! My name is Courtney Wattenbarger. Wow...that is a mouthful. Just call me Mrs. W!! I have been teaching since January of 2007. I graduated from ECU and started my career at Four Oaks Elementary. I taught first grade for five years and decided to stay home with my babies. After five years, I was given the amazing opportunity to come back to what I love. I am married with three sweet babies (Hunter, London, Finley). I love bright colors, teaching, riding 4 wheelers, going to church, shopping, going on vacay, and spending time with my family and friends. My passion is teaching..so I am very blessed to live out my dream. This year is going to be awesome!!

Trades and Classified Job Fair 2023
Johnston County Public Schools will hold it's annual Trades & Classified Job Fair on Saturday, June 24. The event will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Smithfield-Selma High School, 700 M Durwood Stephenson Pkwy, Smithfield, NC 27577.

Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23
We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
