Third grade is full of exciting new concepts that we will be learning all year long. We will be using lots of centers and games in order to have fun while learning lots of new things! This will begin my 19th year of teaching and my first year in third grade. We are going to have an awesome year!!
There will be no school for students or staff on Monday, April 3rd-7th due to Spring Break.
Students will not have school on Monday, April 10th due to a Teacher Workday.
Spring Book Fair
The Spring Book Fair will run from Monday, April 24th-Friday, April 28th. Students will be able to shop during their Media Center enhancement.
Teacher Appreciation Week
May 8th-12th is Teacher Appreciation Week. Thank your student's teacher for all their hard work!
2023-2024 School Calendars Approved
The Johnston County Board of Education approved the 2023-2024 Traditional Staff and Student Calendars at their March Board of Education meeting.

JCPS to hold Job Fair on April 15
Johnston County Public Schools will hold a Job Fair on Saturday, April 15 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at West Johnston High School.
Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23
We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
