Ms. Sandra Mejia

My name is Sandra Mejia. I am a Participate bilingual teacher, currently working in the Dual Language program with a NC teaching license. I am originally from Colombia. I am highly qualified for languages literacy instruction. One of my strengths is promoting and supporting the development of second language proficiency through different methods that are centered in the students’ interests. Motivation in the learning process is something significant in my lessons, and I always try to provide the best environment for my students. 

I am responsible, enthusiastic, creative, engaging, inspiring, and a dedicated teacher that always tries her best.

  • Graduation Ceremony Information

    At this time, all traditional high school graduations are still planned for May 29. Graduation ceremonies for Johnston County Early College Academy and Johnston County Career and Technical Leadership Academy will now take place on May 16th, rather than the original date of May 15th.

  • Board of Education Meeting set for April 7

    The April Johnston County Board of Education meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 7. The virtual meeting will begin at 4:00 p.m and will be conducted via Zoom To Comply With Social Distancing Orders. Members of the public make access the meeting via livestream.
