Ms. Gildea

Hello! My name is Kathleen Gildea. I am one of South Smithfield Elementary's Speech Language Pathologists. I have been part of the Dolphin family since 2018.

I received my Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Western Carolina University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology as well as English from the University of North Carolina (Go Heels!!).

I love working with my wonderful speech and langauge students, who range from PreK to 5th graders. My schedule varies daily, so if you would like to know what day and time I see your child, please feel free to contact me.

When I'm not at school, I like to read, cook (and eat) new foods, and watch TV on the couch with my dog. I'm a born and bred Tar Heel and go to any and all games that I can, especially football and basketball. I also love going to the beach any chance that I get.

I'm looking forward to a DYNAMIC year with our DYNAMIC students!
