Mrs. Ashley Woodside

Hi Cooper Family! My name is Mrs. Woodside and I teach second grade at Cooper. This is my 6th year teaching here at Cooper Academy. I received my undergraduate degree in Biology from Peace College in 2015, and then graduated with my Master of Arts in elementary education from NCSU in 2019. GO WOLFPACK! I live with my husband and son, our dogs Luke & Piper, and our cat named Cole. I also have a grey horse named Andrew! I was a Cooper kid also from Kinder-2nd grade, and I am so happy to be back as a teacher here! Second grade is a huge year of growth for students, and I love watching them learn every day. I primarily use class dojo as my form of communication, but if you aren't connected to my class yet,  I also check my email daily!
