Mrs. Wood

Hello, My name is April Wood and I will be your child’s teacher this year. I am so excited that I will get the opportunity to grow with your family!! I have a bachelor's degree from East Carolina University (GO PIRATES) and my MSA from Barton College. I have worked with preschool aged students for more than twelve years now. I have worked in both the private and public sector and feel that I was made to be a teacher.

I was born and raised in Johnston County and reside in Kenly. I am married to a career fireman and together we have three daughters; Georgia, Audrey and Josie. We enjoy many outdoor activites together. We have a multitude of animals including chickens, goats, pigs, horses, cats, dogs and a turtle that also keep us busy!

I cannot wait to get to know your child and help them develop a true love for learning!

Ms. April
