Ms. Tia Kelley

Hello! My name is Tia Kelley and I am the college adviser here at Smithfield Selma High School. I love working with students as they explore their post-high school options and goals. I assist students with the college application process, SAT/ACT registration, financial aid applications, and so much more! You'll usually find me advising students individually, planning and hosting college-related events, or presenting to classes. I'm originally from Richmond, VA but I attended and graduated from Duke University in 2019 with a bachelor's in Psychology and have lived in NC since the start of college. I hope to attend graduate school for clinical or counseling psychology after my time as a college adviser with SSS!

Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions that you may have about life after high school. For more information about the work that I do as a college adviser and about the college application process, please refer to my college advising website here
