Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Donna Chapman
Greetings:
I am a graduate of University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BS degree in Education. I am currently certified to teach K-12 and specifically, high school math and social studies.
I have taught school for 25+ years in a variety of settings. My career in Johnston County started at South Campus Community School where I taught for four years. This will be my third year at SSS.
I have five children. Rachel is my oldest daughter and is married to Corey. They have two absolutely wonderful children, Elliott (4) and Ada (2); Stephen is next in line and lives at home; Matthew and Sarah are in high school at Cleveland and Anna is a Freshman at UNC-W. I also have a Buster and a Kaity Monster. I spend a lot of time with my kids and grandbabies so I am very busy outside of school. I love sports and being outdoors and active. Cooking is one of my favorite hobbies which is good because I have a lot of people to feed!!!
I love to teach! It is my heart and my passion. I love being in the classroom and I can not wait to have my classroom full of students. On-line teaching is not the same but I’m learning and adjusting as I go. I want everyone to succeed and to enjoy my class so I work really hard to make that happen.
