Hi Cooper Friends and Families!

I am so excited to be a new family member here at Cooper Academy!  I have recently relocated to North Carolina from Colorado Springs, Colorado in June 2019, and I can definitely say that the summer heat is very different!  I have 3 sons (a 2nd grader, 4th grader, and an eighth grader), and we also have a two-year-old Australian Cattle Dog (Cookie) and a 8-month-old ferret (Koby)!  As you can see, we have a big family!

I was raised in Denver, Colorado, but eventually moved to Oklahoma!  I earned my Associate's degree in Psychology from Oklahoma City Community College, my Bachelor's of Science from the University of Oklahoma, and my Master's in Prevention Science from the University of Oklahoma!  Additionally, I have lived in Georgia, Colorado Springs, and even South Korea for two years!

I have about 14 total years of educational experience, which includes a background in behavioral management, crisis prevention, community outreach, and prevention services.  Moreover, I have worked with an array of age groups, 0-21 years of age.

I am looking forward to getting to know our amazing students and families this school year!!
