Megan Hatcher

Hey! My name is Megan Hatcher and I am a second year teacher here at North Johnston High School. I graduated from high school at SSS, and then college at ECU. I did my clinical internship at NJHS during my senior year of college, so I'm a local. I wanted to be a teacher in college when I had the WORST chemistry professor, and my English professor was the only professor at the time that cared about how I was doing as more than just a grade in his class. After that, I changed my major to English Ed and never looked back.

So, some facts about Ms. H. I have a dog named Gracie who is a whole entire psycho (but I love her). I love to travel. I have been to every state on the East Coast + England, Scotland, and Wales. The Red Sox, Carolina Hurricanes, and Alabama Softball are my favorite sports teams. I was in the marching band in high school and back in the good ol' days I played softball. I am so excited to be back teaching here this year and I can't wait for the adventure that this school year will be!
