Degrees and Certifications:

BS HS Science Education - Chem Nation Board Certification 2011 Masters of School Administration

Mr. Aaron Firebaugh

I graduated from NC State in 2004 and began teaching at Clayton High School the same year.  I received my MSA degree and spent some years in school administration before returning home to CHS in 2019.  I enjoy chemistry, physics, math, and spending time with my family!  I am passionate about helping students think critically and discover science as inquiry.

  • Welcome to my classroom.  I am excited for another great year, my 13th at CHS and 19th in education.

My classes will utilize Canvas for all graded assignments.  Students do not need to sign up for Canvas, they are enrolled and can access the course through Classlink.

All students do need to bring a device to class daily.  Devices can be checked out for the year from the media center, but must be requested using the link below that was also sent out via email.
