Mrs. Troup

WELCOME! My name is Taylor Troup and I am SO excited to be teaching Kindergarten! This is my second year teaching and I am overwhelmed with excitement to be part of the East Clayton Elementary family for the 2020-2021 school year.I was born and raised in the small town of Kittanning, Pennsylvania and I just moved to North Carolina last year. I graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood and Special Education. We are going to have so much fun this year! I am looking forward to sharing my ideas, stories and learning activities with my students. We will read exciting stories, learn awesome math games, become excellent writers and discover facts about science and social studies.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my two dogs Bentley and Callie. I have a passion for reading and share that love with my students everyday. I am looking forward to working with your children!
