Middle Grades English Language Arts (6th-9th) National Board Certified Teacher AIG Certified

Amanda Everette

I am originally from a small, farming community in southeastern North Carolina. I attended ECU to fulfill my dream of becoming a middle school English Language Arts teacher. After college, I moved to Wake County and taught 7th and 8th grade ELA for 9 years. At the beginning of year 10, I had the opportunity to stay at home with my children which kept me very busy for five years.  I returned to teaching in 2019, and I am so blessed to teach 7th grade ELA at Four Oaks Middle School!

My husband is a pilot, and we have two children. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time at the beach and reading.
