Degrees and Certifications:
I wanted to take this time to introduce myself. My name is Shirley Webb. I have been involved in one way or another at Corinth Holders for many years. I am very excited to be teaching first grade again this year.
In December of 2008, I graduated from East Carolina University (Go Pirates!) with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a License in Reading K-12.
Before gaining a teaching position, I worked as a Teacher Assistant and Bus Driver at Corinth-Holders for 13 years.
I am married, have two sons, a daughter-in-law, and two dogs.
I am looking forward to working with you and your first grade student this year.
It is very important that you as parents feel that you can contact me at anytime. Here are the best ways to reach me...
- Dojo me using the class dojo app
- email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
- call Corinth-Holders at 919-365-7560 and leave a message. I will return your phone call as soon as possible.
- send a note in with your child.

We are so thankful for our outpouring of support from our community during this time of need. Many people have called, emailed, and messaged looking for ways to volunteer or offer donations. In order to be able to organize this effort, we ask that anyone wishing to volunteer or supply donations fill out this brief support form.
At this time, all traditional high school graduations are still planned for May 29. Graduation ceremonies for Johnston County Early College Academy and Johnston County Career and Technical Leadership Academy will now take place on May 16th, rather than the original date of May 15th.
The Johnston County Board of Education will hold a budget work session on Tuesday, April 27. The meeting will begin at 5:00 p.m. and be held in the Evander Simpson Building in Smithfield.
