  • ACCESS testing for English Language Learners

    North Carolina schools are required to administer ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 to all students identified as English Learners (ELs) in the spring of each year to determine their progress in learning English. Each student is tested in four areas: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. This assessment helps us monitor their English language development.

  • Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23

    We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and  meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.

School Announcements

  • Spring Sports Tryouts February 15-17

    Spring Sports Tryouts will be held beginning Wednesday, February 15th through Friday, February 17th for baseball, softball, girls soccer, and track and field. Students who wish to try out must have a current physical and all forms completed in PowerForms prior to tryouts. Baseball, softball, and girls soccer tryouts will be held from 3:30-5:00 on tryout days, while track and field will take place from 3:15-4:45.

  • Beta Club Applications Now Open

    Applications for Beta Club are now open for 7th and 8th grade students. Beta Club is an honor organization that recognizes outstanding academic achievement, promotes strong moral character and social responsibility, encourages service to others, fosters leadership skills, and provides settings for you to develop strong interpersonal skills.
