Hello FOURTH GRADERS!!!!  My name is Mrs. Moore and I teach Language Arts and Social Studies.  I team teach with Mrs. Hutchins who teaches Math and Science.

I am married to David Moore and have been for 28 years.  We have 2 children together.  Our daughter, Kristina is married and has 2 children.  Our son, Buddy is at East Carolina University. 

I went to school in Johnston County.  I graduated from SSS in 1990 and went to Johnston Community College.  I graduated with a Business Administration Degree in 1992.  I began working with Johnston County Schools in the payroll Department in 1993.  I decided to go back to school to get a teaching degree in 2002.  I completed my degree in Elementary Education in December 2009.  I began teaching 4th grade at Corinth Holders in 2010 and have been here ever since.  I love the job, students, and community.  

We will have a great year learning a lot of exciting topics, skills, and grammar.  I hope that you enjoy singing and dancing becasue we will do a lot of this to help us remember parts of speech and writing pieces.

  • JCPS transitions to Plan B for all students

    The Johnston County Board of Education voted to return all Pre-K and EC-Self Contained students to Plan B, four days per week, beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 19. These students will participate in face-to-face instruction on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with Wednesday serving as a remote learning day. All other students in grades K-12 will remain on Plan C until Monday, Feb. 1.

  • 2nd Quarter Report Cards

    Report Cards for the 2nd quarter of school will be available to view online through the Parent Portal on Monday, January 11th.

    On December 8th 2020, the Johnston County School Board of Education voted to return to Plan C (Remote Learning), we would like to provide an update to parents and guardians of options to complete state-mandated End-of-Course (EOC) and Career/Technical Education Post Assessment testing.

  • Second Semester Choice Form

    Every JCPS parent was to fill ou the Second Semester Choice form to choose either the Virtual Program OR face-to-face instruction for each of their students by Monday, Nov. 30. If you were unable to fill out the form by Nov. 30 please contact your child's school for assistance. The form was to be filled out for ALL students in grades PreK-12.
