Mrs. Moore

Hello FOURTH GRADERS!!!!  My name is Mrs. Moore and I teach Language Arts and Social Studies.  I team teach with Mrs. Hutchins who teaches Math and Science.

I am married to David Moore and have been for 27 years.  We have 2 children together.  Our daughter, Kristina is married and has 2 children.  Our son, Buddy is a Freshman at East Carolina University.

I went to school in Johnston County.  I graduated from SSS in 1990 and went to Johnston Community College.  I graduated with a Business Administration Degree in 1992.  I began working with Johnston County Schools in the payroll Department in 1993.  I decided to go back to school to get a teaching degree in 2002.  I completed my degree in Elementary Education in December 2009.  I began teaching 4th grade at Corinth Holders in 2010 and have been here ever since.  I love the job, students, and community.

We will have a great year learning a lot of exciting topics, skills, and grammar.  I hope that you enjoy singing and dancing becasue we will do a lot of this to help us remember parts of speech and writing pieces.
