Ms. Hines

I am originally from Tennessee and moved here in August 2007. This will be my sixteenth year teaching but my first year in 5th grade. I am blessed to work with amazing people and have had the privilege of working with 3 student teachers so far in my career!  I also had the honor of being named the 2016-2017 Johnston County Teacher of the Year!   One of my favorite things to do in my free time is to volunteer with disaster relief and serving on rebuild projects.  I also love to read, scrapbook, and spend time with my family and friends.  If you ever see me out and about, be careful. I am a twin and we do look a lot alike. My twin sister works in fifth grade at River Dell Elementary. I have dreamed of being a teacher since I was in elementary school and working in this profession has been a long-time dream come true.

I look forward to helping your child as we set sail on the journey that is to be fifth grade 2022-2023!
