Degrees and Certifications:

Kayla Baker

Hello, my name is Kayla Baker.  I am a Johnston County native and grew up in Pine Level, NC.  I graduated from North Johnston High School in 2012 and went on to obtain my degree from East Carolina University; GO PIRATES!  In college I studied Elementary Education with a concentration in Science.  After college I followed my love of science to Corinth Holders Elementary where I taught 5th grade science and social studies.  I enjoyed teaching science so much that I wanted to share that passion with older students and I am so excited to work with students from my community.  I can’t wait to introduce your child into a whole new way of approaching science through experienced based learning.  This is going to be a great year and I look forward to working with each of you.
