Ms. Jennifer Conrad

Hello! My name is Jennifer Conrad and this will be my 7th year of teaching! I graduated from East Carolina University. I graduated with a B.S in Special Education with a concentration in reading. I also received my General Education licensure during my 2nd year of teaching. I have three small children. My oldest daughter is 11 years old and is in sixth grade and attend Archer Lodge Middle school with me. I also have a son who is 9 years old and is in 4th grade and I have a little girl who is going into second grade.  My life is pretty crazy but I wouldn't trade it for anything! I love teaching and I inspire to make real connections with my students. I am here for them and you. I am so exited to be here at the Lodge! This year will be a little of a challenge and lots to be learned for us all. Please be patient with me and I will respond to you all as quickly as I can. Keep in mind that during the day I am teaching your wonderful children. We will also have Ms. Batten who will help us along the way. She is a wonderful addition to our class! School Announcements

  • Spring Sports Tryouts

    Come try out! All Spring Sports tryouts begin Monday April 12th after school. Try-outs will run from 4pm to 5:30pm to 6:00pm depending on the coach and the sport. All sports are open to 6th - 8th graders. To be eligible students must have passed 3 out of 4 core classes in the Fall semester. Students also must have a current sports physical. Any sports physical dated after March 1, 2019 is accepted this year. If they have never played a sport then they need to get a physical over the next two weeks. Physical forms are available on the Johnston county web site under athletics.

  • Spanish Speaking Parent Information Night

    There will be a parent information night for our Spanish speaking families on February 10th from 5:50 to 7:00. This will be held virtually through a Google Meet: www.meped.com/ Information will be shared about Powerschool, Class Remind, DoJo, etc., Classlink, school social media pages, Free/Reduced Lunch Applications, Covid, and the new website that has county level Connect Ed messages in Spanish.

  • JCPS Outdoor Mask Mandate Lifted

    While face masks are still required in all of our indoor facilities, students, staff, and guests of our campuses are no longer required to wear a face covering when outdoors. Students and staff may continue to wear masks when participating in recess or outdoor activities if they choose to do so.

  • 2021-2022 JCPS Preschool applications now open

    The online application for the Johnston County Public Schools Preschool Program is now available. Parents who are interested in the JCPS Preschool Program are encouraged to apply early, as availability is on a first come, first served basis. The application window closes on June 30th.

  • JCPS releases updated graduation and prom details

    Johnston County Public Schools has updated its plan to mark senior milestones, including prom and graduation while adhering to guidance from the Johnston County Public Health Department and the CDC in regards to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
