Mrs. Window

Welcome!  My name is Janice Window.  I was born in raised in New York City.  I worked for several years in the publishing industry before deciding to persue my masters in education.  I graduated from the University at Albany in upstate New York in 2009.  From 2009-2011, I lived and taught in London, United Kingdom where I met my husband Dean.  At the end of 2011 we moved back to North Carolina to be close to my family.  In August 2013, my son Joel was born at 31 weeks.  He is my pride and joy and my hero as he faces every day with a smile.

I've worked as an exceptional childrens teacher in Johnston County since February 2012. I worked as a self-contained cross categorical general curriculum teacher at Corinth-Holders Elementary for the last 8 years.  I look forward to starting this first year at Thanksgiving Elementary.
