Welcome! My name is Janice Window. I was born in raised in New York City. I worked for several years in the publishing industry before deciding to persue my masters in education. I graduated from the University at Albany in upstate New York in 2009. From 2009-2011, I lived and taught in London, United Kingdom where I met my husband Dean. At the end of 2011 we moved back to North Carolina to be close to my family. In August 2013, my son Joel was born at 31 weeks. He is my pride and joy and my hero as he faces every day with a smile.
I've worked as an exceptional childrens teacher in Johnston County since February 2012 and have been with Corinth Holders Elementary since August 2013.

Our Winter Dance for students in grades 3-5 will be after school on Friday, February 28th. Admission is $5.00 and includes 2 slices of pizza and a drink (additional drinks will be available for purchase). Students must have a signed permission form to attend and dismissal from the dance will begin promptly at 5:45 pm.
CHES PTO is raising funds for the advancement of technology, supplies & materials, field trips, and more to benefit all CHES students by selling candy bar boxes. Fundraiser sales are February 10th-28th. Chocolate Check Out Forms and information was sent home with students. Please help us meet our goal of raising $7,000 by selling 2 or more boxes. Thank you for supporting CHES!
On March 3rd from 2:45-7:00 pm, CHES will partner with The Blood Connection of Raleigh to sponsor a blood drive. All donors receive a $10 gift card and The Blood Connection will match that with a $10 gift card for our school! Each donor will also be entered into a raffle for a Car Rider Fast Pass and a $25 gift card, compliments of our PTO.
Johnston County Public Schools is seeking nominations for the district 2019-2020 Employees of the Year event. Nominees should be someone who embodies the mission and vision of the district while supporting the instructional integrity of the classroom and district but are not classroom instructors.
