Miss Bethany Helms

Welcome to your 2022-2023 mathematics extravaganza! I graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Middle School Math Education in 2018 with an add-on in high school mathematics. I am working on my final year in graduate school to pursue my master's degree in mathematics with a concentration in post-secondary mathematics at NCSU. I am a proud Johnston County alumni of Cleveland Elementary, Cleveland Middle, and Cleveland High. Growing up in this school system and taught by so many dedicated teachers, I always knew I wanted to come back here to teach. I am a very family oriented person, which is evident in the classroom community I strive to create. In my free time, I enjoy shopping, cheering on the wolfpack, traveling, and spending time with my family. This is my first year teaching at Clayton High School and super excited to join the Comet family! #CometsALLin
