Welcome to Room 300! My name is Courtney McKnight, and I will be your child’s 3rd-grade teacher. This will be my 12^th year teaching and my fifth year in 3rd grade. I have taught fifth grade for two years and first for five years. I graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in Child Development and Family Relations. I have a daughter going into the 10th grade and a son going into the 7th grade this year! I am confident that we are going to have a great year full of fun and learning!

I feel one of the most important parts of helping each student achieve his or her full potential is parent/teacher communication.
