Amy Bailey

Hello! I am so excited to be apart of the Selma Elementary family as a EC Resource Teacher this year. It is going to be a great year full of new adventures. This is my first year teaching at SES and I am excited to get to know all the students. Before coming to SES I worked as the center director of Smithfield Head Start. I have been in the early childhood field for 20 years serving in numerous capacities of 3 and 4 yr old teacher, teacher in a blended EC preschool clasroom and NC Pre-K teacher. I graduated with my Bachelors degree in 2010 from the University of Mount Olive and  I recieved my teaching license from North Carolina Central University in 2013. Currently, I am enrolled in the Master's Program at UMO in Early Childhood and I will graduate May 2019. I look forward to an exciting and successful school year!
