Mrs. Andi Whitley

Hello! My name is Andi Whitley and I will be your child's 1st grade teacher! I grew up in Johnston County and I love working in the community that I live in. I graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in math. This will be my sixth year teaching. My husband and I have a little girl named Avery and a sweet fur baby named Brock. I am very passionate about getting to know each and every student in my classroom and making sure that they are successful! I look forward to an awesome year with each of you!

  • Summer Information Fair

    As we prepare for the 2022-2023 school year, JCPS Transportation Services and School Nutrition will be hosting a Summer Information Fair at each high school. The information fair will provide parents an opportunity to request, verify, and ensure your child has bus transportation and a meal service plan prior to the opening of school. The summer information fair for our school will be held on August 1st from 1 PM to 7 PM at Corinth-Holders High School.

    CHES will have a Back to School Orientation night for students and families on Thursday, August 25th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.

JCPS Announcements

  • JCPS Summer Hours

    Johnston County Public Schools will be moving to summer office hours on June 13. School and district offices will operate on a four-day work week.  Offices will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays and 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursdays. The summer schedule will continue until August 11. All offices will be closed on July 4.

  • 2022 Summer Information Fair Dates Set

    Johnston County Public Schools is always striving to provide students and families with exemplary service. In most cases, school bus transportation is essential for many students to access a quality education. In order to meet our daily goal, it is necessary to implement change that enhances and improves our overall operation. As we prepare for the 2022-2023 school year, JCPS Transportation Services and School Nutrition will be hosting a Summer Information Fair at each high school.

  • JCPS to Utilize New Website for Bus Updates

    Our district is launching a new portion of our website to further communicate bus delays and replacements with our families. We encourage those who have a student who utilizes our transportation to get to or from school to visit www.johnston.k12.nc.us/busdelays for updates on our school bus routes beginning Tuesday, January 18.

  • JC Board of Education approves 2022 JCPS salary schedule

    The Johnston County Board of Education voted unanimously to approve the 2022 Johnston County Public Schools salary schedule at their regularly scheduled Dec. 14 meeting.
