Mr. Turnage

I graduated May of 2018 from Western Carolina University with a B.S. in Psychology and Sociology.   Before coming to North Johnston Middle I worked/ Interened with LifeSpan, a non-profit organization focused on helping anyone with a disability.  My passion in life is helping those who have any kind of disability and or impairment, and have done this for many years throughout college and all of my internships in the mental health field.  I am always open to any questions, so feel free to email me or call the school and leave me a message! 

My Upcoming office hours for virtual learning start on Monday, March 30th, 2019.  These hours will be Monday through Friday from 12pm-2pm, feel free to email or call me at any point in this time frame with any questions you currently have.

  • Summer Meal Service begins June 1

    As the school year comes to a close, please note that JCPS meal service will now operate at 9 sites during the summer months, rather than the previous 14. Summer meal service will begin Monday, June 1. Curbside meals will be served Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Benson Middle, Clayton Middle, Four Oaks Elementary, North Johnston Middle, Princeton Elementary, Selma Elementary, Smithfield-Selma High, West Clayton Elementary, and West Smithfield Elementary.

    Attention parents of 4-year-olds: Are you interested in your child attending a free preschool program? The NC PreK program is designed to provide 4-year-old children with positive early learning experiences that support their development and prepare them for Kindergarten.

  • Graduation Plans Announced

    JCPS high schools will host “modified” traditional graduation ceremonies between Wednesday, July 29, 2020 - Saturday, August 1, 2020. Schools will communicate about specific graduation dates and ceremony times as we get closer to see what restrictions may limit our attendance participation.
