  • Puppies and Reading

Mrs. Jones' third grade class had a reading party to celebrate a project that was funded for the class entitled, "Puppies and Reading: Building Compassion, Empathy, and Love of Reading." The class pledged to love, take care of, and read to their reading pals for 20 minutes per day. The class was gifted with a whole new library of high interest grade level books including graphic novels and culturally diverse chapter books.

  • November's Mustang Movement A Great Success

November’s Mustang Movement, “ Giving Thanks, Spreading Love” was a great success! We participated in Operation Christmas Child (Samaritan’s Purse) and were able to pack and pay the associated shipping costs for 17 shoe boxes! Mrs. Vickie Capps, representing Wilson’s Mills Baptist Church, collected these boxes and now they are on the way to boys and girls in need all over the world.
