    Johnston County Public Schools will begin graduation season with two ceremonies on Friday, May 15, followed by eight traditional high school ceremonies on Friday, May 29.

  • New deadline in JCEF grant process

    The Johnston County Education Foundation has changed its grant process from a three cycle a year process, to a once a year process. The grant deadline will now be November 15th each year and Grant Patrol will be held on the first Wednesday of December.

  • A Sensory Hallway for WME

    Christina Nait Saidi and Faye Tant spearheaded an idea to implement a sensory hallway in the primary building of Wilson's Mills Elementary to promote interaction between all classes. Mrs. Tant, who worked hard to get the shapes cut and applied with help from Erica Goodwyn, says, "The inspiration came from various elementary schools to promote a holistic approach to learning."

  • WME Bus Drivers of the Year

    Mr. Steve Singleton was honored as Wilson's Mills bus driver of the year. Mrs. Mary Sanders was also honored as the sub driver of the year. Congratulations to both of them for their commitment to getting our students to school and home safely.
