Meredith DeBord

My name is Meredith DeBord. I grew up in Trujillo, Perú and came to the USA when I was 18 years old to attend college. I graduated from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina with a degree in Spanish Education and have been teaching for 30 years.  I have been teaching in Johnston County since 2001.  

All of my assignments  and other important information can be found in my Canvas Courses. I post my lecture slides at the beginning of each unit and they contain daily lessons and assignments along with documents, study guides, videos, and links to important, current information. Parents are welcome to join the Canvas course as an observer.

 Supplies Needed for Class

• The following items are recommended for success in my class:

• Small 3-ring binder (1 inch. is good size) -or a notebook 
• folder for handouts
• 1 paper manila folder 
• loose leaf paper, pencils, a Highlighter, index cards 

Optional: 4 dividers (Labeled “PARA EMPEZAR”, “VOCABULARIO”, “GRAMÁTICA”, “PRÁCTICA”)

               colored pencils, markers, small pencil sharpener.
