Clayton Middle Cheerleading

  • Our Purpose

The Clayton Middle School cheerleaders are excited to be a part of the team this school year. As cheerleaders, we serve to promote school spirit, develop a sense of good sportsmanship among each other and our peers, support athletic and school activities, encourage a sense of pride, and work to establish good character expected of a cheerleader. Through the accomplishment of this mission, our cheerleaders will become strong athletes, bold leaders, and positive contributors to our community.

    Meet the Coaches

This year, Coach Dunn and Coach J are leading the cheerleaders of Clayton Middle School. Coach Dunn is a 5th year teacher at Clayton Middle, where she teaches agriculture science, advises the CMS FFA chapter and serves as the Exploration Department Chair. She cheered in middle and high school and is excited to once again be involved in cheerleading and coaching this year's squad with a great group of young athletes. Coach J is a Johnston County native and graduate of Cleveland High School, where he cheered on the varsity squad. He brings so much enthusiasm to the team and works tirelessly to ensure that the cheerleaders are always putting in the effort to make the team the very best it can be. Both coaches are very proud to be coaching such a talented group of cheerleaders!
