Mr. Carlos Sousa

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year!

This year, I will be serving as the  IB Career-related Programme Coordinator. A little bit about my background: I am Portuguese, born in Venezuela. I graduated from Liberty University School of Business with a bachelor's in Economics. I am currently enrolled at Liberty University pursuing a master's degree in Higher Education with a concentration on Instructional Design and Technology. In the past 12 years working as an educator, I have worked in different capacities; full-time CTE teacher, teaching and learning coach, and most recently, as a program coordinator. Prior to teaching, I worked in the banking industry. Over the years, I have served on many different mission trips and traveled all over the world. Some of the things I enjoy doing outside of work are gardening, farming, researching sustainability methods, renovating houses, and traveling the country.

Courses I will be teaching this year:

Personal and Professional Skills year 1 and 2

Have a great year!
